OMG, I *promise* you I will read that and respond... But now I'm struggling to get out of here. I'm at work (I'm using the word loosely ;-)

Short response: I agree Rose might be old-fashioned in most situations but I think in the *right* set of circumstances she might have been game for a litte open-minded fun. The right circumstances being (very simply) that the third party was someone like Jack - Where there was certainly an attraction and sense of fun, but not chance in hell of anything serious - And a strong bond between the primary couple in the relationship.
