An Open Letter
Dear Fic Fairies,
Please stop whittering around my head. The darling-laden, oh-so-precious school of fic-writing was a part of my misspent youth (ie, before my 34th birthday) so you're simply not going to have any luck around here, honest. Please let me get back to bashing the Descendant outline into decent shape, as I'm much happier doing that, not dealing with ideas like Kaldor City fanfic.
