I think forces are conspiring to send me to Chicago TARDIS, after all.
Hubby and I just talked and he says it's okay - really, really okay1 - if I go away for a couple of days. In fact, he thought I've been planning to go all this time.

I found an airfare for under $400 - although my body wouldn't appreciate arriving at O'Hare at 4AM, body-time. (ow!!!)

No, I would not be doing the crazy-assed Masquerade number borne of last night's martini-fumes. You know I can't sing!
1 - as readers of my regular journal know, my husband has some health issues at the moment that make me a little twitchy about going out of town.
