I Think My Brain Just Crashed

Wait a minute...

Paul Darrow played Elvis?

Apparently so.

The above pic is from this entertaining archive and was found via the wonders of Google.

Ow.

I have that photo! I bought a job lot of photos from the estate of a B7 fan and that was one of them. :-P

To be a little less snarky, that must have been quite the find, really. :-D

(guess who just got done listening to "The Actor Speaks"...? At least Darrow was a fan of Elvis. That says something for the guy. ;))

It gave Greg and me a lot of amusement. :-)

And I guess he can sing.

Paul Darrow played Elvis?
Oh my...thanks for sharing that.

Apparently he took over the role when some stage show went on the road.

The mind, it boggles...

I'm still trying to process that picture in my mind...somehow it's not... Does PD sing?

Yep. And quite well, if one goes by fans who know this sort of thing far better than I do.

The aforementioned play was a musical and one can't imagine the director casting someone who, y'know, can't sing. :)

Would be interesting to hear how his singing is.

I was thinking they may have lip-synched his stuff if he couldn't.

Maybe these days, but this was back in the stone age - y'know, early 1980s or something. I think the audiences still expected actual performances, then... ;)

Prod around the net, there's probably some sort of recording out there. :-D

*boggle*

Though, somehow, oddly right. It's the silver lame connection, I think.

Oh dear. Between Sgloomi Po in-jokes--that I hadn't thought about in years!--and Elvis!Darrow, you have completely broken my brain this morning!

Ah well, reboots are good for the brain! :)
