Why do I have a sinking, horrible feeling that this might have at least a passing resemblance to a certain fanfic?
Oh my, nice setup with Rhys' transport company and him seeing Gwen at the scene of the accident.
Oh god. More Jack in a tight vest pls.

And, btw, Welsh-student fangrrl loves all the delicious accents. :)
(I must admit, this reminds me of an early draft of Harkness Supremacy which featured alien meat, rather than human meat..)
Enough with the short, sharp zooms, already! Ditto the handheld camera bit. I'm going to skin the DP, I swear! Um. I mean... Er, bad choice of words, given the story.
...and Gwen shows that her empathy (and her intuition) are completely broken. Damn eejit girl.
(utter side note: I'm so glad that some bland hunk wasn't cast as Rhys)

It's a little thing but, annoying short-zooms aside, the photography, overall, is so much better this season. More interesting, more imaginative, more helpful for the story.
Nice ADR in a windy situation. Kudos to the post-production dudes.

Oh, I like the Rhys/Gwen fight. Lovely dialogue, lovely pacing, and the picture on the PC desktop is a nice touch.

Hm, the CGI is kinda letting us down now the alien is thrashing around.
Why the FUCK isn't Jack, er, doing what Jack does (second) best for Rhys?? At least Gwen seems to have her priorities right when it really fuckin' matters. Meanwhile, Jack seems more torn up by what's happening to the bigwhalealien than to folks on the team.

Oh, gee, retconning Rhys. What a non-surprise that is. This pisses me off, for exactly the same reasons it pisses off Gwen, and I would have done exactly as she did, bless her. Which is why folks like me keep watching the show. ;)
At least Rhys gets that he's the one Gwen comes home to. Yay.
And yay for Gwen calling Jack et al on their shit.

re: preview for 2x05. Oh bloody hell. (and ohmigod, it's Nagle!) *looks at BBCA schedule* Oh, thank Christ. It's been shown here, already, so I can watch it, although I'm not sure if I'll get to it tonight... Bloody tempting, tho'...
PS. Have replayed Jack/Ianto smooches from 2x03 several times. Mmmm....
