I see Ianto didn't waste any time with the Glare of Death at Martha - even if it didn't last.
Well, fuck, the opening of this (mysterious deaths, hacking of NHS records is far too much like the fic I started ages ago. Damn, that's what I get for lollygagging. I'll have to rewrite. A lot.
(indeed, as the story is developing, it's much better than the fanfic I had in mind. Maybe it's for the best that I dragged my feet...)
I really wish Martha had gotten the UNIT gig on her own. Bloody Doctor.
Owen's playing with an alien gadget... Gwen's got a silly pen. Oh dear.
Uh, on a completely shallow aside, has the actress playing Marie overdone it with the collagen, or was she born with a trout-pout like that?
"I had a boyfriend who's nostrils flared like that when he was lying." Aww, Jack-luv!
Definitely seeing a bit more of the old Jack - without tossing out battle-hardened Jack. Hooray!
"Innovative... bordering on the avant-garde." Aww, Ianto-luv!
Oh damn, damn, damn. Why are Tosh and Owen getting along NOW? *winces*
(On that note, why is Tosh so cursed, relationship-wise? Aliens and/or assholes and/or dead in one way or another...)

As usual, Gwen's the humane/sympathetic one, bless.

I must admit, I'm glad I was spoiled re: Owen, else I'd have thrown the monitor out of the window and, damn, these things ain't cheap.
Overall, I liked the plot, I liked the execution of it, and how the characters interacted. The general improvement of the show continues. Yay!
