The Things One Gets Up To When Unemployed...

I went through my collection o' Doctor Who books, updated my spreadsheet, looked up prices for the ones I'm missing and then exported it to an alpha-sorted text list and put it on my iPod. With luck, I won't be buying any more duplicates when at the used-book store as I rarely leave the house without Avon (so-called, 'cos it's black and silver and bears close watching...)

Yep. I'm still unemployed...

But, just in case I need a list elsewhere, for reference. I'm dumping a copy of the list, here. If I'm going to kill my iPod battery, anywhere, it's on the way to a Doctor Who convention.

I'm quite amused there's a book called The Mary-Sue Extrusion.

I'm reading Lungbarrow right now on the Classic Who site! It's interesting, even though I feel like I'm a bit lost.

I'm quite amused there's a book called The Mary-Sue Extrusion.

I'm going to buy that one out of sheer curiosity, myself! Besides, it's by Dave Stone, so it'll almost certainly be amusing.

And bless the Beeb's little cotton socks for releasing some of the rare books on .pdf - else I'd have never read Lungbarrow, either! I must admit, I was a bit underwhelmed by it, after all the hooraw. I mean, it was interesting, but not omgwtfbbq! Then again, I read it long after I saw the telemovie, so I think I was inured to the whole partially-human controversy, already...

Same here. But I do like some of the illos on the BBC website version.

Weirdly?

I have some of these lacunae (in the MAs and NAs; I don't follow the BSAs), indeed they include some of my favourites.

I had no idea how much some of them were reselling for. I suppose it makes sense; the ones that people are least willing to give up sell for the most because of short supply and high demand...

Indeed!
