Oh... it's definitely the sugar (and caffeine).
Not only am I suggesting cosplaying Faction Paradox, but iTunes just brought up Voodoo Child and now I have vague notions of a truly terrible masquerade number.

I don't think I could do the silly thing and, besides, the more I poke at this cosplay idea, the more it's becoming a hall-costume - ie, something best viewed up close, not 15+ feet away on a masq stage.
Although I've just realized that some of my ideas are verging awfully close to the Sycorax, and I don't want that. Still, I've got lots and lots of time to kick ideas around, as this isn't something I'll be able to start before, oh, November, I think...
