And they've added a 9:40AM departure to the 6:00AM flights.

Clearly, I've pissed off the AA gods.

(The fact that it appears that my roomie is now considering going is just rubbing salt in the wound)

You know how Calvin (of Calvin & Hobbes believes in making sacrifices to the snow demons for a good winter? I think I'll go burn my pile of old boarding passes and baggage claim tickets, now...

I didn't want to spend money on a ticket for me. I wanted to spend money on a ticket for you, by giving cash to someone who has plastic and them getting the fare for you before the deal expired. :)

As I ranted on my other journal, I'm sorta tired of passing the hat on my behalf and, furthermore, I think I'd rightly get hit by karmic lightening if I did it for such a frivolous cause so if a hat DID get passed, it's news to me, too!

Just because YOU won't start it, doesn't mean someone ELSE can't. I sincerely doubt iamradar is the only person who has thought about gifting you the ticket. You're just gonna have to accept the fact that there are people on this planet who love you and want you to be happy. :)

I've decided that holing up in a hotel on Thanksgiving weekend isn't instrumental to any of my plans. I'm absolutely sure that no matter how cool my DVDs are, they'll be cooler by Gally.
