Am quite tickled by the amount of squee going on re: latest Gallifrey guest additions. Now I just need to sort out getting down there.

There was an arrangement with a pal that they'd cover my airfare now and I'd cover their room at the con (because tax refunds are good things, oh yes, but not in my hot little hands until Feb 5 or so) but I think that Real Life might have overtaken that person and we're back at square one.

I've registered. I've booked a room. I've a bloody suitcase full of awesome costuming. I will not let gorram finances thwart me.

Gareth David Lloyd and Kai Owen at the same con? No way am I missing out on that. I'm not saying that the other guests are chopped liver - far from it. It'll be lovely to see everyone but I'm particularly excited about those two.

Although I wish I had the dosh to reprint the Mae fy ffrind wedi dysgu Cymraeg... con ribbon. As it stands, I don't think I'm going to be able to pay for the order I've got pending, as it is. *footstomp*

Which ribbons are you currently getting and can any of us help on that? Ribbons are good.
We already have a full car, otherwise we'd offer you a lift.

I was planning to get the econo-version of "Cult of Johanna" (no degrees, unlike previous runs) and a reprint of the ribbon I intended to have for Chicago TARDIS: Paul Cornell Cuddle Puddle.

I *might* put the begging bowl out for ribbon fund, if I can get my pride to quit whimpering. I'll let you know and thanks for offering. :)

kiralikescake and I are planning to drive down, I know she's not on this journal so I can point her over here or ask if she'd mind. Not so convenient as flying unfortunately.

What are the dates? Maybe Denise could drive down to do a makeup shopping trip and give you a ride.

I can help with ribbons too, if needed. Where do you get them done?
