Used bookstore score! They had a bunch of Doctor Who NAs for $2 apiece. The local sci-fi bookstore doesn't let them go for less than $10 each, so I grabbed every single one of 'em, regardless of title and author - 11 in all. That should keep me going for a while.

Also, OMGWTFBBQ! There's a rumor that David Tennant will be joining the RSC for a production of Hamlet, in the title role. And Patrick Stewart migiht reprise his excellent Claudius. I'm still hunting down fer-shure confirmation of this rumor, but should it turn out to be fact, I'm going. I'm a huge Hamlet junkie, for a start and when you throw in the squee factors, well... I'm only human! I just hope the run is compatible with my vacation plans, such as they are(n't).

By "RSC" you mean "Royal" not "Reduced" Shakespeare Company, I'm guessing? For a minute, my hopes were waaaaay up.

Dude, if it was the Reduced Company (which it ain't) I'd be buying tix for aaaaaall my friends to go when they came to town.

Come to think of it, Tennant would be rather well-suited for the Reduced Shakespeare Co, wouldn't he? ;)

The think the entire audience would exhaust themselves just watching DT as he scurried about the stage like a ferret on Pocky... :p

That would be such a beautiful match, words cannot describe! Which is why I did a double take upon seeing the initials. Ah, in my dreamland...

actually, I don't think I'll be watching it on BBCA, as dollars to donuts, they'll have cut it for running time and/or content.

If I want to watch the show again, I've got the entire thing on my iPod *ahem*

I will, however, set up my DVR to record it, as I'm led to understand that cable companies pulling stats off those things has put the Neilsen ratings folks out of business...
