I'll have to find material featuring Matt Smith and determine what I think of him as an actor because, honestly? I've never bloody heard of him.
But at least I have a year to form said opinion.
Edit: The Ruby in the Smoke is available on DVD in the US. I guess that's as good a place to start as any. I'm sorry, but I see no need to hunt down a rerun of Secret Diary of a Call Girl
So, how do y'all feel about the news?
Further Edit: Some folks over at doctorwhoforum.com are incandescent with fury over casting a 20-something in the role. Geeze, guys...ageist much? Surely acting ability is a wee bit more important than his youth?
