Matters Mostly Trivial.

I had to let the paid features of this account go, money being what it is and all.
And then I took a look at the actual blog - rather than viewing it through the f-list setup on my regular (and permanent) account,
britgeekgrrl. Sweet merciful Christ, it looks terrible. What is with that default font? It's unreadable! (nb: Theme was 'bloggish' in the 'classy' style - avoid, avoid, avoid!)
I can't afford to restore the (customizable) paid acct but I have, at least, changed the default style to one featuring more-readable fonts for both the entries and the comments.

I've had several well-meant offers of acting help from assorted friends. I have two vacant roles (assuming CE maintains his interest in playing the Doctor). I'm also suffering a whole load of preconceptions re: how the other two characters should be played. Said friends aren't, necessarily, actors. Then again, most fan-films rely on talent that's more enthusiastic than experienced and it's not like I'm much of a bloody film-maker, either.
So, with all this roiling about in mind, I'm going to pick some weekend afternoon/evening, some point in the next couple of weeks (depending on CE's schedule) and ask anyone who's voxed an interest in helping out to attend said reading. The group will almost certainly be small enough to fit into Casa Cthulhu but, in respect of Alex's chemo schedule, it'll more likely happen at a neighborhood coffee-joint.
Not quite an audition, really, but close. There will also, I hope, be an element of fun, involved. Should we meet at Casa Cthulhu, we can watch a few more fan films, etc and make an afternoon of it. If we need a really good laugh, I'll let y'all see the Kaldor City audio script that I had been working on.
I'll post dates here as matters are coordinated. Watch this space, etc, etc.
