Sober now, and past the hangover and, yes, I deleted a few past posts, even though I acknowledge that nothing really goes away on the Internet.

So, how was your weekend?

I spent most of Saturday (er, before I started in on the martinis) working on the Gallifrey One giveaway item but am awaiting a moment of truth regarding a possible issue during the final bloody step of construction. Fortunately, I have enough in the way of materials to start over if I must, but I'll be annoyed about the wasted time and effort...

Gearing (*ahem*) Up...

They're not easy to photograph, unfortunately, between being shiny, the shape of the piece distorting the contents and the lousy light in my house (as far as photography is concerned, I live in a cave) but you get the idea. I think.

I'll have to sand the edges and mount them on to settings of various kinds, of course. The intention is for the small pieces to become stick-pins and the two larger cabochons will become pendants, somehow.

As I said, I'm quite pleased - not bad for a first (well, second, technically) attempt, and certainly not bad for a giveaway item.
