That's very true, and I think you've just identified the major weakness of one of my long-time ratbastard OCs.
Damn, I hate it when the clue-by-fours hit me on the back of the head like that.
Fortunately, my *other* favorite ratbastard OC (what can I say? It's an archetype that I'm weak for) figured that out all by his lonesome (and, it seems, without any conscious help from me) so at least I can console myself with that, whilst he's angsting around inside the back of my head... but I digress...
