Hmm... Now if there are future stories that answer this, feel free to, you know, not answer it here. But does Jack's masochism continue to be the product of the Master having screwed around with his nervous system, or is it conditioning? Because until reading this, I'd assumed the latter. If it continued to be at least partly physiological, and the Doctor found out, I suppose he'd be compelled to try to fix it after they all got out...?
