Damn it all.

Goodstorm.com - my preferred place to go to create tee-shirts and such - was acquired by another company, a few months ago. I fear Yahoo ate the notification emails as spam, so I've only just found out about it.

What this means is that the links for the Innuendo Squad shirts (and assorted others) are dead, dead, dead.

I can re-create them but, guess what? Despite the former owners of Good Storm insisting that Zazzle is an okay outfit, the prices have gone up - by quite a bit in some cases. Even if I offer products at cost, as is my usual MO, dear reader, light-colored shirts start at $11, "women's shirts" (babydolls and fitted, I guess) at $16 and dark shirts at $20. The range used to be $8 - $12, before adding on optional extras like heavyweight cotton, or extra-large sizing.

I am not pleased about this. I suspect this might be the end of the stunt tongue shirt, at the very least.

I wanted to do a custom-shirt for the kicked-around Time Agent costume but, given that I'm trying to do it as cheap as possible, I think I'm going to have to try for another vendor. If a cheaper one exists. Damn and blast!

It gets better...

You *can't* take a 0% royalty. The damn thing is set up to include an automatic markup of 10%, whether you want it or not.

GAH.

I've put the shirt idea together, but I won't be able to buy it for a while.

I'm too annoyed to decide whether or not to bring back the Innuendo Squad shirts. Besides, I need to find the scratch to buy the correct font, now that I know what it is, finally! :)

That's a definite problem.

Have you compared costs with somewhere like Spreadshirt? They seem to do a good line in T-shirts, using American Apparel Ts that aren't *too* expensive, and they've other knick-knacks you can ornament. Plus they definitely don't demand you take a royalty.
(Disclosure: the NY Doctor Who group uses them for their 'brand' merch.)

I'd not heard of them. I'll check them out, thanks!
