...and three minutes into The Sontaran Strategem, I'm kicking my little legs into the air.

Donna Noble, since you didn't ask - and I'll have a salute.

I guess I'm part of the Donna fanclub, now.

(in fact, god help me, when I lose a few of these extra pounds, I might consider cosplaying her. She's got curves and I know I look good with reddish hair, given the reaction when I wore the Rebecca Fogg wig. Most of my pals thought the color suited me so well, they thought I'd dyed my hair that color. Granted, the RF wig was a little darker than Donna's quite red hair, but if I stay out of the sun (as is my wont) and use a good foundation... heh)

She is made of awesome, is she not?

And a Donna cosplay would be fascinating. I've only seen S4 as far as 4x06, but her costume changes are already intriguing.

It's not a spoiler to say I'm looking forward to seeing what duds she's wearing in 4x07, I think.

*waves a little Donna flag!* Yes, I think I absolutely have to cosplay her, but all her outfits are... boring. And largely (haha) unflattering, alas. Though if I have an extra day before con frenzy hits this weekend (haha, with finals? not happening!) I'm going to try to throw something together.

They are a bit boring, aren't they? I figured I'd just pick my favorite and make it for Chicago TARDIS and/or SiliCon... I have neither the time nor the money to do it in time for BayCon...

So far, I'm fancying the fitted blue doe-suede jacket ensemble in "The Sontaran Strategem". If nothing else, I can wear the elements to work and such. ;)

I'd love to see what you come up with, tho!

The suede jacket outfit is nice, and I'm mildly interested by her second, more Roman outfit in "Fires of Pompeii". There's a cute fuschia shirt in some of the promo pics that we haven't seen in action yet, and I loved her outfit in ep. 7, but it's too detail-oriented for a BayCon timeframe (definitely an option for Gallifrey, tho, if I can get there!).

And as for the cosplayer vs. costumer thing, I think it's a very fine line, and I find myself jumping across it all the time. Some characters I really love to get into (I still can't turn off Giselle), but a lot of the outfits I do, I do because I fall in love with the design, and the whole "cosplaying as acting" part doesn't apply. *shrug* I just find that cosplay is an easier verb than costume. (I want to cosplay Donna vs I want to costume as(?) Donna.)

But yeah, I really just want to run around BayCon telling people off and mishearing comments. XD

And, um, sorry for not mentioning it in the earlier comment, but I think you'd make an *awesome* Donna. ;)

As I keep maintaining in the community, I'm a costumer, not a cosplayer. You're a cosplayer and, therefore, you get it on a level that I don't. ;)

Although, I must admit that... maybe with Donna... maybe I'll start to figure it out. No promises, tho'. ;)

I LOVED that part.
Yes, loving the Donna.

So... Donna, Ten, Saxon cosplay sometime?

Hell, if I can find thrift store elements, maybe at BayCon, but I must admit, I doubt it. Especially as I'm lacking the wig.. ;)

Doesn't it figure, that's not one of the wigs I have.

But you know I'd be down.

She's really working out. Like I was saying, back to good old-fashioned, non-romancy Companions! Yay.

I must admit that I'm getting a *little* tired of the "OMG, this is so fantastic!" schpiel at the beginning of every episode (that I've seen) but, then again, in her shoes, I'd do the same - a person can't become blasé in just one week, or two, or three, so I forgive the squee'ings because they're so wonderfully human.

I think Donna is the most identifiable (so to speak) companion we've had yet and, for that, I luv her. ;)

Yeah, being part of the Donna fanclub was number, oh, 9.3 billion on my list of things to do...I just didn't think I'd like her at all, based on The Runaway Bride

Isn't it great to be wrong sometimes?
