Gods, I hope I can make it to the con.

It's not just omg-Lis-Sladen! squee (although I'll admit that's pretty damn nifty) but the entire bloody guest list. They're either folks I've seen before who've proven to be generally fab, or folks I've been wanting to see for quite a while. Being a Chicago TARDIS neophyte, I've no idea if this is a typical lineup for 'em, but I'm impressed!

If I'm very lucky, I might be able to squeeze the airfare out of my mid-October paycheck, since I can't seem to count on the corsets selling - and even if they do sell, household expenses have dibs, first. Sigh.

Speaking of corsets, I might as well re-list the two three I've got ready to go... Blatant plug!

I do hope you're able to make it. It was very cool to meet you last year. I've only attended two Chicago TARDISes so far (2006 and 2007), but I love them and look forward to my third one.

Unfortunately, money is INSANELY tight in my household right now. I'm scrambling to raise funds in various ways but the fact is that any dosh goes to household expenses first, and funtime second.

But man oh man, I will throw a MASSIVE sulk if I can't make it out there (especially as I dropped the dosh on the superduper reg, this time - at least I've been promised a refund if I don't make it...)

Understood. Being currently unemployed, I've had to miss CONvergence, a favorite con of mine in the Minneapolis area, this year. And I'll be missing Dragon*Con this coming weekend. Chicago TARDIS will be tne first con I'll be able to attend since MarsCon back in March.

*nod* if I don't make it to Chicago, my reg refund will at least pay for my flight to Gallifrey, so that'll be something, I suppose.
