We're All Mad, Here!

As those of you on my regular journal know, I tend to get fits of mania after a migraine. This past migraine was a bit of a lulu, and the mania manifested accordingly - apologies to everyone on the games and gaming filter.

Naturally, some of the mania spilled over into the fannish end of my personal spectrum. Not only am I back to seriously thinking about the Doctor Who LARP (working title ...Curséd Spite) but I think I've got the barest hint of an idea for not one but two short fan-films.

One... could be quite feasible, if I could cajole a certain group of largely SoCal-based folks into playing along. I've got a great location, guys...

The other? Honestly? It's a big pile of crackfic waiting to happen. And casting would be a bitch. But it could be sooooo much fun, if I could get said casting right...

Both projects would have a running time of ten minutes or less. A filmmaker, I ain't. Well, not any more - and I barely qualified, even way back when.

What are the projects? You mean you can't guess?

Ohhh yays! I've been relatively MIA lately due to mania of my own. We should speak more O.o I should be online more... yada yada yada.

...so many straight lines, so little time...

It's VERY early days yet, luv, but I'll keep you posted. If naught else, I'll see if I can get some pix of the proposed location. I think you'd like it - it's a big biotech lab in the China Basin neighborhood of SF... ;)

Sounds good to me. No rush as my life has been wacky since I've gotten back. Finally found an RP comm at least, so I have something to do with my spare seconds on the side.

Well, to be realistic, I think that if I can bang out a script that's acceptable AND get y'all to play along, I doubt there'd be any taping before the winter break - and, yes, it's crossed my mind that I might have to haul my butt down to SoCal. If the mountain won't come to Mohammed, and all... ;)

So, indeed, no rush at my end, either. I just gotta keep jotting down the ideas as they come to me, for development, later.
