What's That Faint Whistling Sound...?

fangrrl_squees...so, a kind person is sending me a DVD of selected Doctor Who fanfilms (for which he has permission to redistribute, I might add) and there is talk of a screening at Casa Cthulhu at some point in the future - although there are currently more folks interested in the screening than Casa Cthulhu can comfortably accomodate, so a backup plan might have to be arranged.
I've been reading reviews of a few fanfilms, here and there, barely hung around the edges of the fan screenings at Chicago TARDIS, and have been listening to the small, determined voice that shoved me into a certain course of study, all those years ago.
I could be letting myself in for a whole world of trouble, oh yes.
God help me if I actually get an idea. I suspect that such inspiration is inevitable, if not terribly swift - spare me the comparison to a glacier, kids. I just hope I can keep control of things when it finally does, strike.
Heck, I've got that Kaldor City fanscript to find a crew for, if I really want to do something along those lines. Just as soon as I tweak how the final third of it goes. I'm still not happy with it, cos I just sort of banged it out to get it over with - which is why I haven't shared it with y'all, yet...
