Well, I've just let the folks on the fan-film board at doctorwhoforum.com know that I'm willing to assist any fan film crews in the vicinity that might need the help. I'm not sure what, if any, kind of respose I'll get (beyond something amusingly flattering from je_smith) but I have to try.

It would help if my skills weren't almost completely fossilized, but that's what I get for putting rent and health insurance ahead of emotional fulfillment, or something...

There will be SOME plumage, yes. I'm trying to find the dosh for the re-run of the Welsh ribbon because, unfortunately, my ribbon piggybank took a hit and the money had to be used for more important expenses and so I'm back to stony broke again...

Yeah, I meant the the general tenor of DW fandom at the moment, rather than your stuff specifically. I know it'll blow over, I'm just read for that to happen already. Nuff said.

And I agree with re: the general tone of fandom. Give it a week and they'll move on to whinging about something else. I must admit I, for one, wonder why they moved to announce (relatively) early. I suppose they figured that a leak would be inevitable - or Smith himself might accidentally blow it, as per John Simm...
