Sunday Somethings
Feb. 4th, 2007 01:08 pmIt's all very well for
8th_doctor to tap his foot in a testy manner and point out that I've not written anything for him, lately, but if he's going to be all testy and not make any useful suggestions, he's going to have to wait. I feel vaguely guilty for the lack of luv lately, but the ideas just ain't there.
On a related note, yay for the weekly PMG voice porn fix! (Guess who just DL'd Phobos?)
I've also got my hands on a chunk of the Fifth Doctor's tenure in iPod-friendly format, so that's me glued to a tiny screen for the rest of the day.
And the Borders chain has just won my undying loyalty 'cause they carry Doctor Who Magazine which spares me having to carve out a pound of flesh for an overseas subscription. Hooray!
The house is awash in sci-fi geekiness.
squeakydalek just loaned me even more NAs, despite the fact that I've barely made a dent on the first pile she's loaned me, and my hubby is flipping through Doctor Who - The Legend Continues (some gorgeous pix of the classic stories, and a pretty good treatment of the first two Doctors who tend to get shorted, mostly cos of the Beeb's terrible policy re: archiving at the time and that's a rant I don't want to start because this aside has gone on long enough)

dr_owen_harper, I have no memory of writing. It popped up as a recovered draft when I opened my LJ client this morning, and, well, like I said, I've got no memory of jotting it down. It must have been after that rather startling amount of wine I put away last night, but still... What the hell, I'll figure out a way to use it. I've gotta upload some more icons of the lad, too. All those userpic slots unused...
That's it, I can't resist the siren call of the iPod any longer...
