Jotted down whilst re-watching Castrovalva for the first time in, oh, 20 years..

So... very... silly.

I can understand why this sent some slashficcers running for their keyboards over Adric/The Master, but still... *twitch*

Episode two features what might possibly be the fifteen most boring minutes of television ever - Tegan and Nyssa arseing about in the woods, trying to find Castrovalva. Utterly without any tension, or amusement value or anything that was intended, for that matter.

PS. Cafe Press' UI sucks.

....that's just so wrong.

Here's something to get rid of that mental image, have you heard the latest Bond rumor?

*squeeeee* *ahem* sorry -- isn't that just a wonderful rumor? if it comes to pass, i think we all need to and have a moment of thanks or something. fangirls around the globe all pausing at once to sigh in contentment.

Are you referring to Daniel Craig's comment re: Bond going both ways, or something else?

(I, for one, would pay a lot of money to watch hawt slashy Bond action, but I don't think it'd go over well in Peoria...)

I'm referring to the rumor that the Bond peeps want JB to play a baddie that tries to seduce Bond. :)

Do the Bond peeps really care that much about Peoria?

*insert extremely loud squeeing here*

Um. No. I hadn't heard that one. Jaysis, I think I just ovulated from sheer lust-fueled delight.

They're trying to kill us, aren't they? (the moviemakers, I mean)

Aw, hell, I'm going to have to write that as a fic, now, regardless of the rumor's veracity.

They might be trying to kill us. I definitely think they're trying to reduce the bat population.

You're going to share that, right?

As soon as those two quit making out long enough to give me a gorram plot, you betcha!

(wanders off in the direction of a cold shower)

From whence did this rumor originate?

Plot! We don't need no stinkin' plot! Just smut, woman!

I read it here

uuugh cafe press. it's like a shiny necessary evil machine that we can't let go of and can't fix. if you're looking for something, goodstorm.com might have it, instead of cafe press...i've ordered from them a few times and been happy. also -- more shirt types to choose from.

After slogging my way through their completely useless help files, what do I discover? They don't offer front-and-back designs for the black shirts. Dammit. So much for going the easy route with making the Innuendo Squad shirts (I had yet another setback with the silk screen today...)

PS. Thank you for the recommendation for goodstorm.com - their prices are better and they're offering me what I want. Hooray!

Oh, my...

After re-watching Castrovolva, and The Keeper of Traken, I've discovered something.

The few white guys that I've been with have been very much like Adric.

Admittedly, that WAS 20 years ago or so...but then I saw the episodes on PBS in the mid/late 80s.

Weird.

The first guy I was with was Thai. Course, I was 9 to 11 yrs when I was with him.

But when I was 16, I hit it off with a guy who was way too much like Adric, both physically, and apparently emotionally. It's a good thing he was a top...or I might have developed a complex.

Oh, did you see my Icon...LOL. I made it last night. UNIT ID, Dr Bombai, Scientific Advisor.
