This is all
mrboy's fault, by the way...
What could a gaggle of female SF fans bring to a podcast that a) hasn't been done to death already and b) would be of interest to a random slice of the SF-podcast-listenin' public?
I know there's potentially a lot, but it's difficult to articulate.
This is just a bit of harmless speculation, of course.

I think something between "squee" and "LOL" (not nearly enough LOL on podcasts; that's something DWNY has been trying to remedy with its sillinesses) would be appropriate.

Except Classic Trek uniforms filled with undead zombies (like there are any other kind) coming for Kirk, who sent them all to their DOOM!

Date: 2009-05-11 10:27 pm (UTC)The temptation to just set up Espana and Leigh-Ann with a pitcher of sangria and a recording device and then say "The Hugos! Go!" and record the results is pretty damn tempting... :)

Date: 2009-05-12 04:31 am (UTC)PEOPLE have vastly different viewpoints on everything related to SF (and everything else); what was that Trek drek cliche? Infinite diversity in infinite combinations, and all that?
We're not all closed-minded little shytes, y'know... but Sturgeon's Law does apply equally to people of both sexes:
98% of everything is crap.
