Torchwood: Fic Archive Online

As I've just realized that the Torchwood fic is starting to pile up and I don't expect LJ to last forever, I've created an archive page. Right now, the links are just pointing back to the apt LJ entries but, eventually, I'll format my original Word documents into .pdfs and hoist 'em onto the server. As I said, I don't expect LJ to be around forever, even though I plan to buy a permanent account the next time they're available...

I'm amused by the fact that, in two months, I've cranked out more Torchwood-fic than I did in four years of watching Buffy...

I think the current warren of plot-bunnies has settled down a bit. With luck, I might get some peace for the next couple of weeks. Or give harriet_jones and b7_soolin some much-needed attention...

I have a page like that too; I keep thinking I ought to host the fics myself or at least download them to my PC somehow. I have 164 at last count.

I started keeping an organized archive of my online fic back in '96 and gods, I'm glad I did. I'd never keep track of the stuff, otherwise!

All of my longer stories are on my site, plus there's a page with links to LJ fic, but I've never stored my LJ stories anywhere else, and most of them are quite short. I should investigate those archiving clients and maybe put some of the longer LJ ones on my site too.

I use a bit of freeware called, aptly enough, "LJ Archive" to back up my journals with. Sexy, it ain't, but it gets the job done and I *think* that the most recent version lets you export entries to rft or html. Maybe.
