Oho, James Strong (director of Cyberwoman and They Keep Killing Suzie) will be at Gallifrey One! I'm so going to whatever panel/interview he's roped into. No, I won't make snarky comments as to how he managed to direct a very strong episode and a complete clanger, but I bet someone else down there will...

Jason Haigh-Ellery? That'll be fun. I'm sure he'll be doing the PR-thing for the upcoming year at Big Finish, and probably crowing about the BBC7 Eighth Doctor stories - which, as you know, I've rather enjoyed. So, yay!

Let's see, who else as I rummage through the list.. Keith Topping, the author of what I consider the one of the more cheerfully racy DW novels - Byzantimum!. That'll be fun and, what the hell, I'll toss my copy into the luggage.

Of course, I'm full of squee at the presence of Tom MacRae, Paul Cornell and Steven Moffat, although I think I've seen far more of Moffat's work on Coupling, go figure.

Naturally, I'm pretty keen on the 'big' names, too but, in many ways, I'm just as keen on the 'smaller' names. Almost everyone is going to have something interesting to say, I just hope I can figure out how to be in three places at once on Saturday!

On a more mundane note, all of my costume bits have been found - to my surprise. Alas, Avon Lady is looking worse for wear, but it's (hopefully) nothing that a bit of very gentle ironing won't fix. If I'm very lucky, I'll find my waist-cinching undies and not risk a busted seam in the vintage UNIT uniform...*frets*

The inserts for the watch-boxes have been printed out, and I'm short six boxes dammit. That and my need for a fine-point silver marker and some more superglue (last-minute repairs on the Harkness prop) will send me to JoAnn's tomorrow, no doubt. The instructions for the "Wandering Whimsy" notebooks have been printed, and await glueing-in, also, and envelopes have been found. I just need to buy some stamps.

Wow, I might actually get all packed and everything else wrapped up tomorrow night. Lovely!

In the meantime, it occurs to me that it might not be entirely advisable to listen to The Natural History of Fear shortly before bed...

Heheh.

Did I mention this is something like the *fourth* time I've listened to this BFA? It's one of my favorites - although I'm learning now I should listen to it at home (on my PC, rather than on the road on my iPod) as a *lot* of the sound-mixing had escaped my notice, before.

Mmm, sinister PMG... *happyplace*
