I'm reading The Deadstone Memorial by Trevor Baxendale and, ohmigod, it's giving me the serious willies.
However, I also utterly loved pages 81 - 83 ("You should wave [at Alpha Centauri, from Earth], because I know for a fact that there's a six-armed person waving back!") and got all wibbly at pages 106-107.

Date: 2007-09-07 10:09 pm (UTC)I don't plan to watch it on BBCA as it will inevitably be cut for running time and I'm sure those cuts will coincide with cuts-for-content (which they said they won't do, but I'm sure those cuts-for-ads will be suspiciously coincidental)
However, I'm going to set my DVR to record it, because the cable cos track viewing habits through DVRs and so they'll *think* I'm watching it and the ratings will be recorded accordingly. :)
That's a pretty apt description, tho'. :)
