And I want to take brillo to my eardrums to scrub away the memory of those godawful accents.

I'm about 11 minutes into Evolution of the Daleks and I think I can say the following without an ounce of reservation: what a heap of horseshit.

I say this as a particular fan of the Daleks, mind you - look at my domain name, fer Crissakes. I'm usually pretty easy to please when it comes to the Daleks, honest. The fact that this is failing to please me is bad news, indeed.
