Coming Soon(ish): The TARDIS Wardrobe.
Jul. 4th, 2009 12:27 pmAndy T. (of prydonacademy.com) and I are really cooking on "The TARDIS Wardrobe" web project (aka The Mother Of All Doctor Who Costuming Sites).
The general architecture's been agreed upon and I've got placeholders for about 35 pages set up. I've had to stop, though, as Andy and I need to settle some questions re: design. I support an extremely simple, stripped down style of page - feh on those whippersnappers and their fancy scripts and their XML! - and Andy, having at least one aesthetic bone in his body has suggested a design that's not quite so stark. I'm sure we'll come to an agreement but, for now, I have to stop generating pages, 'cos I'll almost certainly have to go back and modify them.
(Yes, I know. If I could be arsed to get the hang of style sheets, such universal changes would be ludicrously simple - but the little buggers always seem to screw things up in new and interesting ways, in my experience)

dw_cosplay archives and collecting the best-of-the-best reference information, tutorials and suchlike and secure permission from the original authors to re-archive their work on a new site. Whew.
It's going to take a while to get past this initial phase, but it's jolly good fun, none the less.
Naturally, I'm in the mood to watch a whole heap o'Who, now...
