I'm going to contact 'em in a few days to confirm that our pre-reg wasn't eaten by the registration pixies as the staff there failed to fill me with confidence (and, oh bloody hell, I've long since lost my receipt...)

It wasn't even a 'receipt' as it was a slip of paper with a checkmark on the bottom for the dinner. It had no number value of the sort on it. (I get the distinct impression that their volunteer staff for registration was well-intentioned but ill-informed. I'm pretty certain they didn't lose anything.)

Truth be told, I'm a bit worried that they might not have been able to read my handwriting (doh!) and you've commented yourself on what a jawbreaker my default address for skaro.com is - so, y'know, paranoia abounds.

McCoy is an absolute doll, but I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. Shaun was suggesting a blockbuster guest who has never attended a Gallifrey before...

*nod* indeed, I remember those hints too but, in the meantime, as I've never seen McCoy before that, in itself, will be quite nice. :)

Hmmm... and now the debate begins: can I do *both* Gallifrey & CC26? In terms of cost, time off, & energy (esp. since I'm entering a masquerade at CC26). McCoy isn't a huge draw for me, but I'd like to finally go to G1, plus a friend from Washington is making noises about going too. Hmm....

As bovil mentioned, the con chair dropped some big hints at the close of the most recent con that he's trying to get A Rather Big Name Never Before Seen at Gallifrey for next year's run - but no promises, of course.
